Hello, I’m Abby…

I know how overwhelming life can feel when you’re carrying anxiety, trauma, or the pressure to be everything for everyone. Sometimes it can feel like there’s a wall between who you are and who you want to be, leaving you stuck, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward.

My own healing journey in therapy showed me just how powerful it is to feel truly seen, known, and understood. Through that process, I discovered the freedom that comes with vulnerability, authenticity, and making sense of the parts of our story that shaped us. That experience is a big part of what led me to become a therapist.

Before becoming a counselor, I spent 10 years in college and high school ministry, mentoring young women, leading Bible studies, and walking alongside students as they wrestled with questions of faith, identity, relationships, and purpose. Those years taught me the value of deep connection, honest conversations, and the courage it takes to grow.

Today, I specialize in working with adolescents and young adult women navigating anxiety, trauma, people-pleasing, relationship struggles, and life transitions. My approach is warm, practical, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based care, all with a bit of humor. I use EMDR, CBT, DBT, and narrative approaches to help clients better understand themselves, heal from what’s holding them back, and build lives that feel more authentic and connected.

I believe everyone is the way they are for a reason. Together, we can make sense of your story, honor the ways you’ve learned to survive, and help you move toward healing, confidence, and deeper connection.

For clients who desire it, I also offer Christian counseling and enjoy supporting women in ministry or faith spaces.

At this time I only offer virtual counseling for anyone in the state of Maine.
